Author Topic: What does this mean on a UNI-T multimeter and can it be repaired?  (Read 611 times)

it keeps showing that 'minus' on the top left and an "H" (only the 'dot' changes if the dial-setting is changed).

The fuse works and it was replaced to make sure anyway and it's the same on another multimeter-battery.

It broke when I went from "20" voltage setting towards OFF  while it was measuring a car battery while the alternator(car engine) was on and I wonder if it's an easy fix or a whole main chip died that costs more than the multimeter or something (it's my cheap multimeter so I have another to do tests).

Any change if you release the HOLD function? Toggle the yellow button.

'Hold' button in the center of the range switch :popcorn:
