Title: How to use a CRS8675 Aptx Module
Post by: 450nick on February 04, 2021, 01:05:29 am
Hi there!

I'm currently trying to work out whether or not I could build my own simple bluetooth receiver for a classic car project that I'm currently undertaking. I have a simple goal; to build a neat little bluetooth receiver using a CSR8765 (with AptX enabled), with optical SPDIF output to feed an amplifier directly. I'm hoping to add an IDC connector to allow me to add an off board play/pause button and track skip forward and backward and a pair of 3.5mm mic inputs and that really is it. I'll control the volume from the amp directly and then all I need to do is design some sort of 3d printed housing. I am armed with Autodesk Eagle and have built a few PCBs using some Chinese PCB suppliers before but nothing related to audio or bluetooth. My problem is that I'm struggling to find any reliable information to design a circuit schematic. I've managed to find some reference designs from here https://www.tinyosshop.com/datasheet/TS8670_reference_design.pdf (https://www.tinyosshop.com/datasheet/TS8670_reference_design.pdf) but they don't cover the play controls so I'm a little stuck. Does anyone have any experience here or help they could offer? I have made a start at an Autodesk Eagle Schematic but I'm a little stuck.
