HP 6024a inop
« on: February 08, 2024, 07:55:46 pm »
Hi All: I have an HP 6024a power supply that I did a bone head thing shorting the two leads. Now there's no output. I've looked inside & don't see any obvious damaged parts. Any suggestions where start troubleshooting would be appreciated. Does anyone have access to a schematic or troubleshooting documents?

Thanks in advance

I didn't read all of it but there is already a repair thread about that model on here <https://www.eevblog.com/forum/reviews/hp-6024a-bench-supply-magic-smoke/>.

I've never used that model but I have used a lot of HP PSs and they've all been well robust and well protected internally.
