Title: Identify circuits purpose
Post by: etnel on June 20, 2021, 03:51:50 pm
Hello. I'm trying to identify what this circuit does, but I can not wrap my head around it. The PNP MOSFET is controlling a signal (middle pin, wide trace). Is it meant for protection against inductive load?
I will be grateful for any thoughts or advice on this //Newbie :-+.

How about a schematic diagram?

That's a lot of diodes on a single track...don't trust my word cause I'm not sure, but those could be TVS diodes and zener diode to suppress ESD

Those diodes are Fairchild ES1F fast rectifiers and Onsemi P6SMB18CAT3G TVS
