I have a customer with a 1 HP Honda WSP100 pump and the overload protectors seems to have crapped out on the inside. These parts don't seem to be available from Honda (its not on the parts breakdown, and the tech I talked to seemed pretty surprised to hear me asking about this).

So it has two of these hooked in series, they are made by Electrica, but I can't them for sale.

They basically look like what you can see in the Electrica link, but there isn't a reset button because this would be sealed inside the pump.

I think the part numbers for the two are:
T 0668/D0 S011
T 0644/52 004S

I've checked Digikey and Mouser and didn't see anything looking similar to these guys, so are these just really unusual to buy individually? Or am I calling it the wrong thing?

Worst come to worst if I can't find anything the customer is planning to hard wire the motor and just let it run until it dies.

I have a self resetting unit that is likely similar.
there are two elements in it, one is for running the motor on 240, it remains connected when you rewire the motor for 120, running the second coil in parallel through the second element, inside is a thermal snap disk that forms a circuit breaker.
they rarely fail.

I replaced the failed start switch on my neighbors pump with the PTC start "switch" off of a refrigeration compressor.
said failed start switch was why the motor was failing to start and why the thermal circuit breaker was repeatedly tripping.. the motor was also about 150C.

Thermal overload units. Go to your local refrigeration or white goods repair wholesalers and ask for them. They are normally used in airconditioners and fridges to protect the compressor from overheating or overcurrent.
