Imax B6 (fake) - suddenly different discharge mode
(1/1)
asymcon:
Hi,
I have 210 18650 batteries to test so in addition to my older fake B6 I purchased two more. However the discharge mode is completely different. The old one discharges the cell with steady current (1A) and when cut-off voltage is reached the current drops by 100mA increments until the cell is fully discharged. This is useful for testing capacity.
However my new B6s do it all wrong, if I set 1A as discharging current, once the cutoff voltage is reached (3.00V) it'll stop charging,
I went through the user manual several times and can't find the right setting to gradually decrease discharging current once cut-off voltage is reached.
Apparently there is a host of alternative firmwares, but I lack the cable for it (and the 6pin header)
Is this a known problem?
