Title: Iphone testing?
Post by: THATguy on February 19, 2017, 10:12:07 am
I want to test the internal components of an iphone (specifically 5s, maybe 6). However I believe there is a grounding feature between the screen & case (or main chassis screws) which prevent power on, not to mention 5s home button ribbon cable.
Perhaps there is a specific forum somewhere for iphone technicians and if someone can provide links that would be amazing.
I've seen the tear down sites and they are great for some basic component info, and entry/parts replacement.

Louis also has some info and a pay (I think $29/month) forum for answers.
