So I got one of those(mostly for usb tbh, got better cables for normal stuff):

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Power-Supply-Test-Lead-Cable-Kit-2-Alligator-Clips-2-Banana-Plugs-4-Hook-Clips/32698896113.html

and I've noticed that green and yellow clips have resistors connected to it. Yellow one just reads half the voltage (using 2x20k as voltage divider), green one jus just ground via resistor (so pulldown).

...why ? what use that would have ?

Since this is intended for cell phone repair, those things may be for some specific phone use, like providing fake charge information, or temperature.

That would explain the ground + resistor one (as AFAIK that's how thermistor on some batteries is connected) but the "shitty virtual ground" one?

Possibly to pull down some digital IRQ-like input. Can't really think of any good use, but may come in handy sometime. The whole contraption is very strange.
