Issues with LTspice XVII Update
« on: September 01, 2018, 01:15:23 am »
When I opened LTspice XVII this afternoon, it said that it had been over a 100 days since I last had the software updated.  I chose the option to begin the update and this 25MB update has been going on for well over three hours.  It seems to have gotten stuck at 26% which is specifically the /PowerProducts/LTC3813.asy.gz file.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?  If so, where you able to find a way to get around it and complete the update?

I think you must run LTspice as administrator in order to be able to update it. If it doesn't work, simply download a new installer:

I've discovered today the latest LTSpice VII stops working when "EchoLink" application is installed.
Removing the EchoLink enables LTSpice again.
Tried on 2 machines, Win7 64bit..
