Post by: MrOmnos on August 13, 2016, 01:03:54 pm
Is there any library for KidCAD out there which contents this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8432 (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8432) screw terminal. Sprakfun library doesn't seem to have it.

It's a 5mm pitch screw terminal.. it takes about 10 seconds to draw one.

I am new to KiCAD. Since, I am in hurry and don't have time to learn how to do it. I thought someone else might have done this before. Thanks anyway!!

I thought those where included in the stock libraries, but I use my own libraries so I can't check.

If not it might be available here (http://smisioto.no-ip.org/elettronica/kicad/kicad-en.htm).

But I strongly encourage you to use the time to learn to make footprints, it's an essential part of the process.

Terminal_Blocks:TerminalBlock_Pheonix_MKDS1.5-2pol is a 5mm pitch one, and I believe KiCad installed that library for me through the wizard.
