If you type the same exact question into google, you will get an answer on the first page of results.

KiCad v5 is the latest officially supported on W7. But if you do that google thing, you will find many discussions on how to run newer versions with some limitations.

I got version (5.1.2)-2 on my win7 laptop and as far as I know that was the latest version to fully work on that OS. I couldn't update it further until I got a new laptop with Win10
