Title: klein MM700

grown out of my harbor freight meter. want to upgrade to an acceptable meter with autoranging and RMS. i have been looking at the MM700 and have found lots of good deals on it. anyone have better alternatives I should consider before buying?

So you neasure AC with distorted waveforms, motor speed control, VFD? On straight sine wave AC a non RMS meter will read exactly the same thing. It actually reads average and is compensated to read RMS. But that only works for sine waves.
