LCD Controller Board DIY Kit(MT561-MD) NOT WORKING.

Hello,

So I bought this DIY kit from eBay a while ago. But it didn't come with an inverter so I had to buy it separately. I bought this Universal one from eBay. Not sure how safe it is but I was hoping it would work. So I put everything together and the screen backlight lights up and seems to work but I get no picture on the screen. It doesn't look broken (Cant find any cracks or anything).

Does anyone know why that may be? Is it a broken screen or could the controller or the inverter be faulty.

Does led turns green and red when you press power button? If yes, then  check display panel voltage. Some displays works on 5V, some on 3.3V and some on 12V. Good source of info is http://www.panelook.com/.
