Title: Learning the Art of Electronics 2016 as companion for 2nd edition TAOE

I have the 2nd edition of 'The Art of Electronics' and I'm considering buying the latest (2016) version of 'Learning the Art of Electronics' to supplement it. Is LTAOE 2016 essentially as useful with the 2nd edition TAOE as it is for the 3rd?
