Title: Lecroy 6100A 1GHz oscilloscope weird screen thing
Post by: Ammar on September 08, 2017, 10:05:28 am
Hello,

I have a Lecroy 6100A 1GHz oscilloscope. All of a sudden, the screen started to display a sort of kaleidoscope of the waveform. I have tried lots of settings, but I have no clue what is going on. It seems to depend on the time base.

I am feeding in a 1MHz sine wave to create the plots below. What the?

You have sequence mode enabled + one of the many kinds of sequence display modes (I forgot their names) - this could result in seeing a part of the sine rising 10 times on the screen.
