led lead for pipes
(1/1)
LaserTazerPhaser:
What are those objects which clamp on to a THT LED lead to prevent it from warping or bending when used with a light pipe?
JackJones:
You mean things like this? https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/wurth-electronics-inc/705820100/732-11605-ND/7681950
I think they're just called standoffs or spacers.

JackJones:
Looks like a standard nylon led spacer, yeah.
These are the kind of things you can get very cheaply from places like aliexpress if you don't mind waiting for the shipping time.
LaserTazerPhaser:
Lens are far more costly than spacers even in aliexpress its far more expensive for panel mount THT lens compared with digikey.
