motorola part number with a tek 465b

Does anybody know the motorola part # for Q4102 on a 465b scope I believe the tek part is 052-034900. This is the -8v pass element in the power supply...thanks.

TEK465b Q4102 -8V pass transistor, 151-0349-00, hand selected MJE2801 SJE924 NPN 90W TO-127 60V 10A I think selected for higher hFE. edit: found in TEK 1982 ref book here.

I see people using MJE3055TG TO-220 package as a replacement. MJF3055 same but in a plastic fullpack. Sphere has some but you must give your left arm.

If the part overheats, look for shorted tantalum capacitors on that rail.
