Driver for LED PCB

Hi,

I’m building a series circuit of four 500mA LEDs. I will be using a 25 Watt 500mA constant current driver. The question I have: is the amount of total watts used for the circuit calculated as the (Forward Voltage of each LED * # of LEDS) * (500mA)? If so the the total circuit will be 14W. Will 25W be too much for the circuit or will the constant current driver self adjust in this situation?

Leds in series :  min voltage = number of leds  x forward voltage of each led, current remains the same

leds in parallel : min voltage = forward voltage of one led,  current = number of leds x current of single led

Yeah the meanwell led driver in theory will work, it can do 15v..50v , so 4 leds in series at 5..7v would be 20-28v and that works out well.
