LM211 vs LM311?

Am I right in thinking that an LM211 is identical to an LM311 with the exception of some slightly different max voltages and apparently rather better electrical characteristics (e.g. input offset voltage/currents)? Or have I missed some fundamental difference when skimming the datasheets?
The reason I ask is that the 211s seem to be a bit cheaper (through Farnell at least) in which case there seems to be little point in going for the 311s over the 211s, if they are more-or-less identical.

Yes, just tighter spec, -40 - +85'C instead of 0 - 70'C Temp etc.
P.S. It's the same coding for most 'traditional' NS parts. Eg. LM301= Commercial, LM201 = Industrial, LM101 = Military.

It's interesting that 2xx is cheaper than 3xx. It should be another way around :). My guess is people don't bother with 2xx, and, because of low demand, they had to put price lower.
I also won't be surprised if 3xx meets the spec of 2xx (due to progress in manufacturing process, unless they still use old equipment). But, of course, this is not guaranteed.
