Surface mounted components
« on: January 11, 2014, 11:34:24 am »
Hello, I want to try my hand with surface mounted components, however looking on the sites including E-Bay, I can't see anyone selling starter kits or mixed bags of components, do any of you know, if anyone sells such bags of mixed components, I don't want to get to heavily into it yet, just want to try it out and not have to buy a reel of 1000 resistors etc. I live in the UK any advise please.

Mixed bags? Very unlikely, because people would have trouble to identify and sort the components in the bag.

Kits, like SMD resistors or caps. Yes, e.g.

Training kits with unspecified components? Yes. Like

I delete PMs unread. If you have something to say, say it in public.
