I've seen some posts of what appear to be green, ruled (with lines/grids), ESD benchtop mats, some that might be suitable for soldering surfaces, but I haven't found a good source (in the U.S.). Anyone have any specific model or supplier recommendations? Thx

These are called cutting mats.

I don't think cutting mats are going to be static safe. I can't remember ever seeing an actual ESD mat with lines or printing of any kind.

As far as I know, the green cutting mats are self healing, but not resistant to typical soldering temperatures and not static safe. ESD mats are usually resistant to soldering heat and obviously static-safe, but not self healing (those are usually blue)

Any links for those mats?

We're pretty sure there are no ESD mats that are high temperature resistant and that also have line/grid markings?

I'm using my wife's old green cutting mat on my work bench. It is most definitely not soldering iron proof. But, it is tough and protects the table top from my projects. The price was right, free, and I'd still like to replace it someday with a legit ESD mat.
