Hello,
I have to mate a small daughterboard PCB to a main PCB which has 2 rows of female contact strip (tulip type/round holes strip of contacts).
I tried to use a normal male/male round pin contact strip, but the problem with that is that the assembled sandwitch (mainPCB-female connectors-male connectors-daughterboard PCB) is too tall and doesn't fit anymore.
The simplest solution is to remove the female contacts and directly solder the male/male contacs to both PCBs, but I need the assembly to be easily disassembled.
I've tried to find some round male/male pin stripes with a smaller profile, but there doesn't seem to exist, the only other possible solution would be something similar to this:

I.e. single pins with a profile that will fit into tulip holes...
But I can't find them.
Can anyone please tell me how they are called and possibly give me an ebay/ali shop/manufacturer reference?
Thanks in advance!

I assume that by “tulip style” you mean machined (turned) pins and sockets?
Take a look at Mill-Max. They make a gazillion types, including sockets that mount directly into the board, so it’s nearly flush. I suggest browsing the full PDF catalog rather than clicking through the website.
Also, even with regular square headers, you can get “bottom entry” female headers that go on the reverse side of the board, so the pins go through the board and then into the socket, allowing much lower board distances.
