So above is the question, plus my solution and at the end two snippets from the text book which I believe gives wrong general forms. I really don't care about knowing if the book made a mistake or not but that my analysis of the circuit for determining the capacitor voltage was correct. This is for a power electronics elective.

Using the equations from the book, I get

wd = 14586, alpha = 0
A1 = initial current through inductor = 0
So
Vc(t) = 120 - 0.1mH*1(82.27*14586-0)*cos(14586*t) = 120-119.99*cos(14586*t)

I added my calculations for the current, and the answer I got was the same as using the equations from the text book so maybe I fudged my voltage calculations? I'm not seeing where though.
