Hi!
I wonder why some parts are called LT<number>, and other parts are LTC<number>. What "C" stands for?
-
There are too many parts to have them all just numbered in one series. The LTC... parts are usually CMOS parts.
-
The LT prefix parts are bipolar and the LTC prefix parts are CMOS. I am not aware of any exceptions.
-
Ah, it is that simple. Thank you both!
-
Hi,
The division between CMOS and Bipolar was blurred when BiCMOS processes were introduced.
To the best of my knowledge LT never used the same number with LT and LTC prefixes.
But generally 'C' for CMOS is true.
