LT4230 3 Phase rectifier
« on: May 16, 2018, 04:31:26 pm »
Hi all,
I've had a good read of the other threads using this chip and it seems like a decent choice for the job of reviews recifying3 phases from a wind turbine with a  max outputcurrent of 50A. I'd be grateful to know if anyone has already implemented this type of rectifier.
I've looked at the reference design from linear and Initial thoughts are that I should choose mosfets for an average current of about 20A per phase .
Maximum voltage may  be an issue though as a wind turbine feeding into too high an impedance might push the voltage too high and I'll be looking at clamping that to a reasonable maximum.
It's early days so any experiences would be apprecited.

Thanks
