| LTspice XVII / IV Crashing everytime I try to run a simulation |

EDIT: Restart did not help, but I've changed LTspice priority in task manager to "Real time" and it seems to helped, did not crash so far. |

I too have had the problem that LTSpice keeps crashing (=not responding) when I run simulation - even after "complete" reinstall. I just solved the problem by deleting all strange file from the default folder (where my .asc files live). Specifically, I deleted all .log, .raw, .plt. HUGE relief - I really find the program invaluable. Best wishes to others using the program. Update - no, the problem's back - but I suspect there are other corpse files left by previous runs of the program that are causing this... Sorry - I'll keep looking. |

There a very good LTSpice group on Yahoo Groups. A few of the members REALLY know LTSpice. There are actually two groups, one is just a repository for models and examples. The other is the daily chat group. |
