The 962 looks like a fun little box.
The 2025 is such a long box which needs a lot of depth on your desk.
The 962 does not even have a built-in power supply, but a 5V plug at the side, and seems to be more built for occasional use. It may lack in frequency and long term stability. If you're into the ppm stuff, this is not your Function generator. Placement of the BNC's on the side is quite strange, butt it also keeps the front panel clean, especially if you want to make a stack of stuff.
Other things to consider is maximum output voltage and current, and if the output voltage is limited with an applied offset.
The sort of function generator you need is very dependent on the job you want to use it for, and also how tight your budget is. I bought a JDS6600 myself for around EUR70. I bought the cheapest (lowest frequency) version, as it is already much more than I need. I do like the bigger display of the UNI-T though. User Interface may also be better.
