| Making a rather tiny and non-standard QFN-ish package in Altium? |

| UTF_8x:
Hi, I'm kinda new to Altium and I'm trying to use the Silicon Labs (ZENTRI) AMW007R WiFi module, however it has a rather non-standard footprint and I can't for the love of satan figure out, how to create the footprint in Altium. Could someone please help me find an existing one or share some wisdom on how to do something so small in Altium without losing too much hair? (https://mouser.com/datasheet/2/368/Zentri_08292016_AMW-1203565.pdf) //EDIT: Added a STEP model of the component for reference... |

I do not know a thing about altium, and have not looked at the STEP file. But can that datasheet possibly be correct in regards to the footprint? Measurements in thousands of an inch, i.E. mils, or 0.025 milimeters? That would make the whole thing just over 0.3 millimeters wide ;D One has to wonder where else the datasheet is incorrect... |
