Mini laptop not powering on.

Good day everyone.

I have an issue here with my mini laptop that is bothering me. If anyone can help.
I was using a wrong charger 5V instaed of 12V. I got hold of a 12V charger double checked voltage first before puggingin. The battery was almost half full and it was on. AS soon as i connected the charge, the light on the charger went off, i then checked the laptop and fount it ws off. Its not switching on anymore.
Is there a chance of it getting fixed.

Try disconnecting the battey.

Disconnect the charger, remove the battery if it's removable, and hold down the power button for about 30 seconds. Then reinsert the battery (if applicable) and try to power on the laptop again using the correct charger. Also check if there is a sign of any physical damage like a burnt smell or so on.
