I have a pretty basic question for you. At the moment I'm simulating an LLC resonant converter of my own design. It all seems to be working fairly well... except changes in load.
I just want to see how it reacts if the load is changed form say 100% to 50%. However, at the moment I just switch one off and the other on. Which of course means the load changes instantaneously causing a large voltage spike.
What's a better way to model a load change? Some sort of transition period where it ramps down from 100% to 50%? How fast are load changes expected to happen in real life?
