ATtiny
« on: April 04, 2014, 05:17:42 pm »
I programmed my ATtiny microcontroller with an Arduino [Blink on pin 0] - the programming worked but I have a problem with my ATTiny - when I plug in the LED it turns on but doesn't turn 100% off, it stays at about 40%

Are there any solutions for that?

Schematics/code/chip?

Not all chips/pins supply the 20mA current arduino can.

Are you just connecting the directly to tiny pin and ground, or with resistor, or using internal pullup to light the led a little bit, or using it to control a NFET that drives some higher power led?

Did I understand it right? You connect your LED to PIN0? Do you mean PortB0? Did you program the TINY over the ISP-interface?

Attiny85 1Mhz internal clock      -      not using a resistor

Led connected to PB0               programmed over Arduino as ISP
