Hi everyone,
I have a nice old surface mount component here with a crack in it.
I think it's probably a 50 ohm resistor because thats what I measured across. I'm not sure what LJ stand for, anyone?

It looks like a thermistor (NTC or PTC). To be sure, you can heat it and measure resistance again.
50 Ohm NTC you may find in a small switched PSUs. It is used to limit inrush current.

Thanks, that's super helpful. The part is pretty erratic but I can raise or lower the resistance depending on the side I heat up so I'm confused.
