Trying to find a reference for a component
« on: October 31, 2022, 06:50:43 pm »
Hello there !

I have a power manager in my house with a few buttons, a lcd screen and a wheel to choose between various options.
Turning the wheel in one direction or the other selects the next option in line. But lately the wheel started to behave erratically, randomly selecting options, and becoming sometimes difficult to turn, as if something was stuck inside.
I disassembled the device, and the part linked to the wheel has trouble turning : there's some grinding while turning, as if something was in the path ... I did some cleaning, it was a bit better, but it's still too much erratic to my liking.
The part has just a "DIP" marking twice on the metal part, nothing else.

Does that ring a bell to anyone ?
Thanks :)

Probably the marking is at the bottom.
