How to internally connect 2 charging FPCs?

Hi everyone,

I have 2 FPC charging cable for a phone, they are both USB type-C. In photo 1, the one of the left is female and the one on the right is male. Right now the way power is distributed is the male and female ports connect externally (as shown in 4th photo). What I want to do is to connect them internally. Intuitively, I think there are two options (in 3rd photo).

How do you all think this can be done? Thanks!
