| NEC (UP)C4570C replacement opamp? |

Hi, I'm trying to fix two dead channels on a Roland M-480 line mixer. The channel board has a couple of NEC (?) C4570C opamps on them. I am looking for a replacement for this opamp because I don't think any of the major suppliers carry it anymore. My google-kungfu is not that good and I could not find any replacement suggestions... PS: If someone has the schematic for the Roland M-480 I would be very interested :P Thanx, Marc |

I'd suggest the NE5532. I haven't read through the whole datasheet of the NEC device, but on first glance it looks as if the NE5532 should do nicely. |

For line mixing a NE5532 will do just fine. |

Still available, I bought some not long ago from RS I think. I'll take a look... Yep, here we go (not the same brand or exact model but surely close enough)- http://australia.rs-online.com/web/c/semiconductors/amplifiers-comparators/op-amp/?searchTerm=4570 You can also get these things from manufacturers, I've ordered them from Yamaha Pro Audio's service department before when I wanted to be sure I got the closest match. I think you could whack a bunch of different chips in and get the same result though if necessary, these don't seem to be anything too crucial in mixing boards where I've seen/replaced them |
