Hello everyone !
I need help about LCD screen , here the story :

i have 4 LCD screen , 1 of them works ( well , still works ) but the other 3 are broken , let me describes the problem :

When you turn ON the LCD , everything run good .
bright screen , good image , works great , but a few minute after Pouf !
no image on the LCD and the Neon are Off , but the Power Led is still ON .
If you turn Off and ON the display , you gonna have an image for 1 second and the screen turn "off" again.
If you turn Off the display and wait 1 hours , and turn it ON again , it gonna work for a few minute and Pouf ! black again .

i repaired one by removing it from the metal case (for a Arcade project) and smashing it , but i don't know what the problem is ...

shine a bright lamp on the lcd after the image has gone, can you still make out the image in the lcd ? if yes it's just the ccfl inverter that's busted
worst case is it's the little transformer that's fried but it's very likely not that, probably one of the cheap, easy to replace other parts on the inverter board

Oh my .... SOYO are still alive ?? making monitors  ...

Wow .. it was my favorite manufacturer of motherboards , before 17 years .
And they disappear completely from the market, at list for 14 years ..

Get one can of Freezing spay , and as soon it stops working ,
start aiming one by one the large Mos-Fet .

In a pinch you can turn a can of compressed air upside down, "liquid" will come out, which is the propellant for the can, it will evaporate nearly instantly and will bring most anything down past the freezing point.

For a spectacular display, shoot the stream onto a running tap of hot water. I recommend not breathing it as much as possible

Good luck

I concur with K, the symptoms are very suggestive of a PSU problem.  Cooling down the Mosfets may cause them to function normally for a time.

Thank you For your help people !

Edit :
i removed the screw on the back of one of the defective SOYO screen , and i tried it , and guess what ? it worked !
don't know how , but by removing the screw in the back of the display i repaired the problem .
i used some tape to put the screen together temporally .
here some picture :

Hello

Maybe the back of the transistor was short circuited to GND when it was not supposed to be. Congratulations on your fixed LCD!!

By the way... on the monitor on the right... I know what movie you're watching... it's Back to the Future II. It's the part when they lock Marty in the car trunk and the musicians are trying to lock him out  :D :D :D
