Need help identifying some SMD components
« on: October 08, 2024, 09:17:24 am »
Hello,

I'm trying to repair a Bang Olufsen Beolab 3 SMP power supply, that someone before me has tried to "repair" and there are some missing components, I need help identifying.

It's the small component with a white "base" and black "top", there are a few of them spread around the board, they have marking like HX, A6. I this a inductor?

Never seen something like this but...
Isn't it a socket with element inserted into it?
Line at one element end suggests that may be it is a diode.

It looks like a type of socket, but in the microscope it looks like it's soldred in there in a way.

And yes, there is a line on one of the sides, there too.

I think you are correct, it's some kind of diode.

The A6 one that "looks like it's in a socket" is probably a BAS216
See attached datasheet:
