This component was parallel to mains input rectification capacitor of an SMPS. It blew up taking a fuse and tripped my house GFCI. The capacity parallel to it is also ballooned up.
It looks like mains rated ceramic capacitor to me

That's a Metal Oxide Varistor (or MOV).
Your particular one is made by Maida and it's part number is D62ZOV301RA65.
