Need help sourcing replacement capacitors in Australia

(1/1)

StarkRG:
So I'm in the middle of restoring a couple of old Macs (a Powerbook 180c and a Mac 512ke). I've gone through and figured out which capacitors I needed, however when I went on to digikey to order them the shipping cost ended up being about the same as all of the capacitors I was buying (about $20). I'd rather not have to spend twice as much if I can at all help it. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm trying to buy in extremely low quantities (I think the most of any given item I need is six). Is there a source that ships to Australia for less than $20?

jeremy:
RS is the only one that will ship for free. element14 is $45 min for free shipping, digikey and mouser are $60 for free shipping.

digsys:
If you list the part details, someone may know where to find them locally.

beanflying:
Depending on how much SMD stuff you do or are likely to do Sample Books of components are not a bad way to go for passives at least. Add to them some small quantities of common ones when you are ordering from the usual named suspects works well for me.

eBay auction: #132947942629 Not a seller recommendation just a starting point and there is plenty of sellers.

Through hole Caps www.rockby.com.au are a good mob.
