Need help with MASCOT 2116 NiCd battery charger
« on: February 09, 2024, 07:24:19 pm »
Hi Guys/gals!

Hoping someone might be able to help me here, I've got a Mascot 2116 NiCd battery charger for a specific battery pack, I've attached pictures of it and the connector on the end. It would seem to be some kind of constant current thingy as it says it can charge 5-10 cells and gives a current rating of 0.8A with no output voltage range. Long story short the power supply itself is dead, and I can only find units with a barrel connector on the end online, does anyone have any idea of what this connector type is called, what the pinout might be or if there are any alternatives to this specific model of supply??

Thanks in advance!

Since you have the old power supply, simply cut off the power cord and use it to replace the barrel connector on the new P/S.

BTW:   "no output voltage range"

The picture shows the P/S open-circuit voltage 41V.
