| Need USB-to-UART adapter with DTR and RTS headers |
| (1/1) |
| Peabody:
This would be for BSL flashing of TI MSP430 processors. I need Tx, Rx, DTR, RTS, Ground, and 3.3V. The lines need to be 3.3V. I've searched Ebay, but can't find anything. The closest I found was this, which could be made to work, but only after some modification: https://www.ebay.com/itm/182603235304 The standard FTDI cable/adapter has CTS, which is not what's needed. Does anyone know of such an adapter, or a cable? |

https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13263 There is a jumper to select 5V versus 3.3V - see the schematic under the Documents tab There will be a small glitch with DTR. It is used to reset boards like the Arduino and, therefore, it has a FET and a couple of resistors. These could be removed to get a clean DTR. Again, see the schematic. |

Buy one with headers for all ftdi pins available and a level converter, you'll have it all for any requirement Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk |

If you want a fancy isolated dongle then pylo's muArt looks good. If you've got a TI Launchpad lying around then you can use that for BSL. Otherwise do what the others have already mentioned. |
