New Aglient 1242b User/DMM, is this normal screen to do?

Hi,

Just received my 1242b and I've used it a few times, never dropped, knocked or otherwise.  I noticed today as I was playing with the backlight button.  When the screen is lit up if you gently swipe your finger accrossed the bottom of the screen or from bottom left to top left theres very fine spiderweb that shows along the bottom following the edge and up the left side. I'm worried that the screen/glass is cracked, but I can't actually see any cracks.  Normal? or not.

no, I haven't taken it apart yet. 

Thoughts?  Anyone with a 1242b or similar confirm?

Just tried it with mine-I can't replicate anything that looks like your description....

Something doesn't sound right. I'd RMA it for a replacement.
