Filtering boost converter noise?
« on: October 20, 2015, 08:00:10 pm »
How should I filter out noise coming from 1.6MHz boost converter? Presumably some noise must come out of that IC?

Can I use RC and LC filter or is there some good way to deal with the issue?

Are you talking the output itself ? yes LC filters. often in datasheets a secondry output LC filter is specified as optional, in theory you can have as many as you like, of course eventually the resistive part of the inductors will cause voltage drops

How much noise?
Which device?

Most manufacturers datasheets have specific guidelines of layout and component selection to optimise performance.
