| Deboscope:
Hi Gents, Way back in 2012 I had acquired a Rigol 1052E Scope and a Rigol 1022 Waveform Generator. Although they are both of a reasonably high quality and a solid build, they are now stored in another country and it is awkward to have them shipped to me, so I have decided to go get me a new Scope and that is the Hantek 4202C. Is my decision wise? Would a 4102C be more cost effective? What does the increase in frequency give me? I would be getting an upgraded scope and an in built waveform generator, at least that is what I believe. For me pretty displays are important. I have used the Rigols in the past to analyse train modelling circuits and locomotive decoders with some success in circuit troubleshooting etc. Like I said, I love having a big bad scope with a pretty display. (~400$ or so) But I am no electronics engineer. Comments welcome... George |
