OBD-II Service 0x01, PID 0x02 response.

Does anyone know what the two byte response for the Freeze DTC command contain? I am not able to find any infos.

PID 02 returns the trouble code that triggered the storing of freeze frame data.

Yes, it is described in the ISO standards document as "DTC that caused required freeze frame data storage", and the two-byte value should be interpreted as a DTC value just as per service 0x03. See further on in the Wikipedia article you showed an excerpt from for how to decode.

If the returned value is 0x0000, then that indicates there is no freeze-frame data.
