| Old electrolytic capacitor markings |

Hello all. I need to replace some leaky electrolytic capacitors in an old sound system made by SANYO. I think it's from the early 70's. Unfortunately, some small electrolytic capacitors use a marking that is not known to me. For example, in the attached picture the capacitor is marked as "M307" and has 1/25 printed on the other side (not visible in the photo). I would assume that 1/25 may mean 1uF/25V, but then what M307 means? in some cases letters are used to declare tolerance, but then what 307 means? Any help or reading material would be much appreciated! Best regards Michalis |

--- Quote ---but then what M307 means --- End quote --- Might be date code, batch number. Nothing useful to worry about. |

Great, thanks. So, is my assumption for 1uF/25V correct? Sent from my SM-A600FN using Tapatalk |
