Gazmon:
Hi all,

I’m just getting into electronics properly, I would like to build some op-amp circuits to get me going again, could anyone direct me to a site or info that gives basic to intermediate circuits I can build please practically on a bread board and then test with an oscilloscope

Many thanks

Gazmon

If you haven't already seen them, here are some good videos:

Google for 'eevblog op amp' and 'w2aew op amp' for more...

Another recommendation is to look at whitepapers from some of the big name semiconductor manufacturers. Texas Instruments has some great whitepapers on op amps (first Google result: HANDBOOK OF OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER APPLICATIONS).
Audioguru:
An opamp circuit built with a tangled mess of wires all over the place on a solderless breadboard will probably pickup interference by the wires and the capacitance between all the intermittent rows of contacts will cause oscillation.

There are many evaluation boards but they aren't always inexpensive.

Here is a board for a quad op amp in TSSOP package.  Look at all the external circuit capability.  You can solder in resistors and capacitors however you want.

It has the advantage of being less susceptible to noise.  It has the disadvantage of not using plugable connections.

Go to Mouser.com and search for:

EVAL-PRAOPAMP-4RUZ

None of the links I tried worked properly.
