Opal Kelly 7310 Pin Mapping
« on: February 20, 2024, 01:16:33 pm »
Hello,

I'm designing a PCB to interface with an OpalKelly XEM7310 that I plan to configure with some open source firmware.  I'm trying to connect the PCB traces to the correct pads for the PCB/XEM7310 pin connector so that the firmware will not require modification for different pins.  However, I'm not finding an I/O pin map for the XEM7310 online like one might find for a microcontroller.  Opal Kelly does explain which MC1/MC2 pin that the FPGA maps to, but I don't see where it says which MC1/MC2 pin is which on the XEM7310 (nor do I really understand what MC1/MC2 means).  Am I misunderstanding something about the way FPGA pins work or have I not found the proper documentation yet?  If it's the latter case, does anyone know where I can find the pin map that I'm looking for?

Figured it out!  I just needed to click on one of the table rows on the Pin Reference site.  Then the map that I'm looking for appears above.
