Hi all. I've got a standing fan which for the most part works fine, has fanspin etc. However it has an awful whine to it, very noticeable when on standby and incredibly annoying. (Crappy phone recording attached below, you'll probably need to bump the volume up).

I suspect it's the XRY Polypropylene film capacitor, as the tone is muffled when I cover only that capacitor.

My question is, would replacing this capacitor solve the whine issue, and if so what should I replace it with?
Would this be suitable?: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/polypropylene-film-capacitors/8712622/
