so i bit the bullet and purchased this newer bit of kit ( i have afew of the older versions), it wasn't cheap it has all the courseware with it which will be super exciting to work through with my son through the holidays. the biggest issue was getting the software to work as it doesn't work on win10 or 11 even though it claims it does. the drivers do not work unless its a winXP, saying that it probably would work if i really looked into it, since i have a bunch of old junk laptops with winXP on them i figured what the hell, so i booted up installed service pack3 some ms framework client software, and hay prestro got it to work. the software can control all aspects of the device which is quite cool i pulled up the portable scope to check the signals comes out of the function generator and there super clean and go up to 1mhz! which is pretty surprising.
